Technological and biological systems, including human beings, are exposed to the influence of the so-called space weather, and are very sensitive to solar energy and geomagnetic activity, and to changes in these activities and their manifestations on earth.

Some studies reveal that cosmic radiation can cause the interruption of electrical circuits, among which are those for medical use, as well as increase arrhythmias and the number of deaths in cardiac patients.

Changes in space weather affect the geosphere, our physical environment, which in turn influences human health and all kinds of activities of human beings.
  • Generalities about the Sun and Solar Activity.
  • Space Weather and its components in the interplanetary medium.
  • The Earth and its cosmic environment. Exogenous and endogenous elements.
  • Terrestrial geomagnetism and its relationship with Solar Activity.
  • The Biosphere and the physical setting in which it evolved. Actual conditions.
  • Impact of Solar Activity and the cosmic environment on the Biosphere.
  • The terrestrial climate as a fundamental link.
  • Agricultural yield and cycles of Solar Activity.
  • Fishing and beekeeping performance, among others.
  • Pandemics, epidemics, epiphytes and epizootics.
  • Pathologies in humans (cardiovascular, CNS, accidents, suicides, etc.)
  • Factors to take into account in prospecting works in Geobiology, in relation to the processes of Solar Activity and geomagnetic storms.
  • Conclusions and recommendations.
