Ley Lines Conference
Teachers:
Hans Jilesen: For over 25 years Hans Jilesen has been searching for and researching ley lines and prehistoric paths, making him one of the foremost experts in this field. He developed his own method for finding these alignments with the help of the thesis of the Austrian professor of architecture, Dr. J. Purner, the coordinate calculation program developed by the Cambridge archaeologist J. Watson, and the distinction between man-made and natural lines formulated by the Dutch geographer Dr. M. Kooistra.

For over 25 years, Hans Jilesen has been dedicated to the search and research of ley lines and prehistoric roads, which has made him one of the greatest experts in this field. He has created his own method for finding alignments with the help of the thesis of the Austrian professor of architecture, Dr. J. Purner, the coordinate calculation program developed by the Cambridge archaeologist J. Watson, and the distinction between lines traced by humans and natural lines, formulated by the Dutch geographer Dr. M. Kooistra. In this workshop, Hans will explain in detail and for the first time what this method consists of, sharing all its tools with anyone who wants to search for exact alignments. Another purpose of the workshop is to measure the energetics of the lines, so a measurement workshop is proposed in Bovis of the four main lines that Hans has discovered in Sant Cugat, later comparing the results obtained. The day will take place in the church of Santa Maria de Campanyà (11th century), in Sant Cugat del Vallès. Hans is a sociologist and polypragmatist (documentarian, lexicographer, hypericologist, Tomatis specialist) based in Sant Cugat.
Program:
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Introduction to energy lines. Description of the method developed by Hans and presentation of the straight road from Barcelona to Montserrat, the perfectly perpendicular Iberian-Roman crossing under the Sant Cugat Monastery, and the prehistoric road from Rubí to Cerdanyola.
12:30 to 1:30 PM Workshop on pendulum measurements using the Bovis scale of the prehistoric Rubí-Cerdanyola road and the straight road to Montserrat in the Campanyà region, and an exercise in locating an ancient Roman quarry next to the church. Comparison of results.
1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Picknick at the Turó de Campanyà. The idea is to bring food to share.
3:30 to 4:30 PM We will travel to the center of Sant Cugat, to Plaça de l'Om, in front of the monastery, to take measurements of the other two lines.
4:30 to 5:30 PM Comparison of results. Sharing of experiences, conclusions, and closing of the day.
